Indian Rice

What you'll need

  • 1 3/4 cups long-grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Add the rice and cook for 10 minutes. Drain and place in an oven-safe dish (with a lid), fold in the butter, close tightly with a lid and leave in the oven for 20 minutes.

Serve with chicken fricassée.
