Spicy Hummus

What you'll need

  • 14 1/2 ounces canned chickpeas, drained
  • 2 rounded tablespoons tahini sesame paste
  • 1 drizzle extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 dash coarse salt
  • 1/2 unit lemon, juiced
  1. Combine beans, tahini, oil, pepper flakes, cumin, coriander, garlic, salt and lemon juice in food processor bowl and grind into a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer to a small dip dish and surround spread with warm pita wedges.
